Title:
How to setup AD to allow anonymous searches?
Body:
By default LDAP searches are enabled (but restricted) in Windows 2000 AD, but disabled in Windows Server 2003.

One method to allow anonymous searches is to grant READ permissions to the "Everyone" group on the relevant container(s).  You must grant it from the root of the directory down to the container(s) of interest.
